Hey There

I’m a mental performance coach with a unique blend of experience—as a former top Canadian tennis player, three-time Olympian, and 18-year WTA competitor, as well as a coach to national, ATP, ITF, and WTA champions. Drawing from my journey as a player, parent-coach, and mentor, I help tennis players develop personalized mental strategies to achieve their best on and off the court.

About Me

My passion is helping athletes overcome underperformance by developing the mental skills necessary to excel under pressure. Many players struggle to consistently perform at their best because they focus solely on physical training, neglecting the critical development of mental strength and resilience. Training the mind is as essential as training the body.

As a ‘tactician’ in mental coaching, I offer a proven program with actionable daily strategies to build mental toughness. This approach has helped players win national championships and secure scholarships at top Division I universities, including George Washington University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Michigan.

I also consider myself a life student, staying in tune with the latest tennis and mental strategies. In my webinars, I regularly seek out resources and confer with world-class coaches and players. Recordings are available on my website at patriciahy.com/webinars if you have missed the webinars.

I believe that sharing information is the key to a highly successful community. I employ this philosophy in my work through blogs on my website at patriciahy.com/blogs. The articles and blogs are crafted for individuals seeking to enhance their competitive edge. After meticulous planning, hours of research, and a lifetime of experience, the resources I have put together are unique and unmatched. I urge you to visit patriciahy.com/blogs.

I am currently working independently as a mental coach, and I am always interested in a challenge. To connect, reach out to me at patricia@patriciahy.com!
